In mixing bowl: whisk together meringue powder, flavorings and 1/2 cup of water until frothy. If using a stand mixer, switch to the paddle attachment. Add corn syrup and the addition of the sifted confectionary sugar. Mix on medium speed until stiff peaks form. Mix approximately 2-4 minutes. Add additional water while you continue mix. *Slowly add up to a 1/4 cup of water to reach preferred consistency. Soft peaks are best for decorating cookies.
