I’m Georganne from the cookie decorating blog LilaLoa. I make cookies pretty much every day of my life. And then I decorate them. And convince other people to decorate cookies with me. It’s what I do. And I love it. Except the mess part. I don’t love that. Thank goodness DoughEZ came into my life and solved the flour-all-over-the-counter-and-even-in-my-hair part of cookie decorating while at the same time making the whole process faster. It’s like a cookie decorating miracle.

Hi, I’m Marian, and if you haven’t already guessed, I have a thing for sweets. Especially the decorated cookie kind.
I like to share all things related to my sugar art passion, including how-to’s and recipes on my blog.

Besides my funny husband and spending time in nature, blogging on Sweetopia makes me happy. My website has become a labor of love; creating the confections, showing how I make them, and communicating with you, are all parts of a passion which is sweet in so many more ways than one. I hope you enjoy your visit there!

Using DoughEZ is now one of my favorite tips for making cookie dough. I love that it doesn’t slide around or wrinkle like parchment paper and makes clean up a breeze!

Can you say Nirvana, cause that is the felling I get when I bake, it takes me to another place in time, it soothes my soul… I am very content playing with flour and sugar! Hi, I’m Maria a home-based baker. I’m married for 34 years and have 3 children, pretty much all grown. I can remember baking from scratch since I was 13 years old, and I am 61 years old now. It has always been a passion of mine…For the last 37 years I have
worked in the gaming industry, as a casino dealer. I deal most of the games, blackjack, roulette and the poker games…I have to be honest, I am really looking forward to my retirement some day…But as for my baking, I never get tired of it!! From my kitchen to yours…
Why I love the DoughEZ baking system, the answer is very easy, nothing sticks…and you can use it with any dough you like and still get that no-stick results…pie crust, pizza dough, cookie dough, its so easy with DoughEZ! I love it! And use mine all the time!

Sweet Dreams

Partner

Sweet Dreams Bakery is a cottage foods home bakery owned by Heba Baldwin and located in Zanesville, Ohio. I originally got started during Christmas of 2015 without the slightest clue as to what I was doing. After doing a ton of research and experimenting with a lot of trial and error (mostly error), what started as a hobby quickly turned into a passion. I specialize in custom decorated cookies for all occasions as well as handmade
Buckeyes during the holidays.

  • I fell in love with the DoughEZ the second I saw a tutorial online on how to use the system. I quickly ordered mine and haven’t looked back since. I used to dread rolling out dough because of the insane floury mess that was involved every time. Not only has it eliminated the need for extra flour, it has completely taken the guess work out of dough thickness and baking times. Every cookie I cut out is uniform in thickness which means I can get an even bake every time!!

I began my cookie decorating obsession in December of 2012 and my life has never been the same. On the advice of my children, I created a blog to show my success and failures along the way. I offer tutorials and videos, hoping to encourage and support others through their journey. Since my children have grown and started families of their own, I now fill my quite home with my love for decorating. The DoughEZ has been a true life changer! I no longer have to use wax paper to roll out my dough and no extra flour for rolling is another added bonus. The guide sticks that are provided help me to roll my desired thickness for every. single. cookie. This product is genius! It still remains one of my favorite kitchen tools!

The day that I received the Dough EZ kit, is the day that I threw away my old rolling mat. The Dough EZ mat is of the highest quality and makes my dough rolling so much easier. The guides are made of washable plastic and allow anyone to roll dough to an even thickness every time. It’s my pleasure to help spread the word about this fabulous product!

Lorraine’s Cookies

I love decorating cookies and all things sweet. I started baking and decorating cookies when my first son was a baby. I would make cookie favors for his parties, and his parties at school and so on. As a result, I began to receive requests for cookies and slowly started building a business from there. Since then I continue to practice my technique using the tips, advice and feedback I receive from family, friends, and the many cookie websites that I follow frequently. I have learned so much from these extremely talented cookie bloggers who continue to inspire and challenge me daily. I hope you enjoy the cookie creations posted here and the inspirations behind them.

IcingSmiles

Partner

Icing Smiles is a nonprofit organization that provides custom celebration cakes and other treats to families impacted by the critical illness of a child. We understand that the simple things, like a birthday cake, are luxuries to a family battling illness. Our goal is to create a custom cake for the ill child, or their sibling, that provides a temporary escape from worry and creates a positive memory during a difficult time.

Memories have magical powers. Long after the cake is gone, the memories linger – memories of the kindness of a stranger, of the art of the design, of the sweet smells of a special treat, of the smiles and laughs, of a normal childhood experience so often stolen from these children. These memories are why we say, “It is so much more than a cake.”

We are not a bakery, as a matter of fact, Icing Smiles doesn’t even have an oven! We rely on a generous team of volunteers spread throughout the U.S. to fulfill our mission.

A portion of each DoughEZ purchase from Icing Smiles will go directly to their non-profit efforts.

The Tailored Cookie:

Susan Dobbs, the owner of The Tailored Cookie was inspired to create her very own Wedding Favor cookie after shopping around for quotes at local bakeries to have them made. After being turned off by the extreme quotes that she was given, she decided to dive into her own cookie making experience…after being elbow deep in cookie batter, she came to the conclusion that these cookies are worth the time and extreme effort because of the amazing outcome.
After mastering the pastry bag and bestowing countless cookies on her husband Mike she started to receive requests from friends and family members to make shortbread cookies for them and their special occasions. In 2009, The Tailored Cookie was born. After being encouraged to go into business for herself she dove in feet first and continues to enjoy being elbow deep in cookie batter.
